Photo gallery Exhibition in Shizuoka (Golden Week 2019)
I will exhibit photos as a part of the inaugral exhibition for Imagikon, a consortium of photographers that I helped found in 2018. Please see the ditigal postcard below for details.
***Exhibition is now over. Many thanks to those who came out to support us!***
Photo book published
Imagikon, a new group of photographers living in Shizuoka City, is delighted to announce the publication of its first photo book. The book, simply titled Imagikon, commemorates the group's first exhibition held in May 2019 (details below). Release date is slated for October, 2019. Imagikon photographers are: Bruce Cunningham, Thomas Forbes, Marcus Grandon, and Geoffry Dean Hinton.
Our Imagikon 2 Exhibition is back on with revised dates. The opening is Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11am and the show will run until the evening of May 4. Due to COVID restrictions there will be no food or drink served. All visitors are requested to wear a mask.
I'm delighted to announce that my recently published article has been chosen as a 'Selected Paper' in a peer-reviewed publication. According to the website: 'Selected Papers highlight three papers of exceptional quality that were chosen through consultation with the editorial board. We express our congratulations to these authors and our appreciation of their well-written papers.'
My paper explores the use of photo-editing software as classroom materials for language lessons.
Imagikon 5 photography exhibition runs from May 3rd–May 5th, 2024 (Golden Week). The show includes a literary reading on the night of May 4th beginning at 6pm with readers from around the country. I have five pieces in the show taken of New Zealand in March 2024.
